Urban Sports Scene is a sports show based out of the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia). The sport show provides youthful and fresh insight into all sports. The show stars Wally, Ray, Fish, and Will T. The “Pregame” features Caps beat the Pens taking the season series 3-1, Duke Blue Devils are now the #1 team in the country, Cam Newton is participating in the combines, John Wall setting a Rookie Allstar record for assist, and Blake Griffin winning the dunk contest. The USS discusses the NBA All-star game they also ask the question is Derrick Rose the best point guard in the NBA. Also they discuss the Melo trade to the Knicks and who benefits from the trade. They make their picks on who will "GO HARD IN THE PAINT" for the week. In their college basketball segment they discuss who they would like to see play during March Madness. They also talk about St. Johns ranking status compared to the North Carolina Tar Heels. Since Greivas Vasquez got his jersey retired by the Terps, we rank him in terms of all time Maryland Terp players. Urban Sports Scene is a sports show based out of the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia). The sport show provides youthful and fresh insight into all sports. The show stars Wally, Ray, Fish, and Will T. The “Pregame” features Jerry Sloan resigning, Albert Pujols contract deadline, Redskins' punt returner Brandon Banks being stabbed at a lounge in DC (Park), Shaun Rogers visiting Redskins Park, and Cam Newton receiving the largest ever endorsement deal for a player to be drafted (Under Amour). In their college basketball segment they discuss what the Terps will need to do next season to become a better team. Also they breakdown Wednesday's Hoyas/Huskies game including Georgetown's shot of getting a 1 seed. The crew also provide their insight into who they think will be the #1 team in the nation after Kansas' loss to Kansas State. The Washington Wizards defeated the Cavs last Sunday to receive their first road win, the USS talks about the game if this win can propel the Wizards to play better on the road. Now speaking of the Wizards recently former Wizard, and current Charlotte Bobcat's owner Michael Jordan has been practicing with the Bobcats. Coach Paul Silas has stated that if Jordan got in shape he could average 20 points a game. The USS debates if this is true and if the people want to see Jordan make another comeback. We all know that Jordan excited folks during All-Star week, but know it's time for the new generation of All-Stars to make their mark. We break down All-Star weekend. Urban Sports Scene is a sports show based out of the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia). The sport show provides youthful and fresh insight into all sports. The show stars Wally, Ray, Fish, and Will T. The “Pregame” features the Orioles signing Vladimir Guerrero, Andy Pettitte retiring (Is he a Hall of Famer?), Capitals beating the Penguins in the Winter Classic Rematch 3-0 over the weekend, Tom Brady receiving the MVP, and Deion Sanders, Marshall Faulk, and Shannon Sharpe making the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The USS recaps the Packers Superbowl Victory and more (including Madden video games bogus prediction). In terms of more NFL talk, they talk about Daniel Snyder's lawsuit against Washington City Paper, and CBA issues. In their boxing segment the USS were joined by Jersey Mike Jr. from Tha Sports Krib. They discussed the effects of the upcoming Mosely vs. Pacquiao and Cotto vs. Mayorga fights being shown on ShowTime PPV. In their college sports segment they examine why the University of Maryland Football team struggles to recruit in the DMV. In terms of Terps basketball, they discuss the chances of Maryland making the field of 68 without winning the ACC tourney. Now Hoyas News, the crew examines if Austin Freeman will be the Big East Player of the year and his chances of being a good NBA ball player. Georgetown is playing Syracuse on Wednesday, they ranked Jim Boeheim inters of current NCAA Basketball coaches. The Washington Wizards play the Cavs in Cleveland Sunday, the USS debates if this game should be televised nationally if these two teams are still on a losing streak (Cavs would be on a 27 game losing streak, and the Wizards would be on a 25 road game losing streak) in the NBA, or is there parity in the league. They also talk about the recent Carmelo Anthony trade rumors and the current All-Star Game selections. The “Pregame” features the Orioles Signing Justin Duchsherer, the NHL 2011 All-Star game, Duke losing to St. Johns, the Terps/Duke game, Georgetown resurgence and the question: Is Jimmer Fredette the 2011 version of Stephen Curry? In their NBA segment, the USS examines the Wizards' road woes, and other news around the association including Kevin Durant calling Bosh "a fake tough guy" and Lakers falling to the Celtics over the weekend. They break down their "GO HARD IN THE PAINT" picks from last week and they come up with new players for this week. In their boxing segment Will T calls in to discuss the Bradley/Alexander fight. The USS talk NFL news (Fisher firing, Vick franchise tag, Pro Bowl and Polamalu winning the Defensive Player of the Year. and Superbowl. Finally, the NHL All-star, NFL Pro-Bowl, and Senior Bowl game took place over the weekend. The USS examines the state of these all-star games.
